TXAEYC
Texas Association for the Education of Young Children
At TXAEYC, I led communications efforts that touched nearly every part of the organization—from major conferences to advocacy work to membership engagement. I rebuilt how we connected with educators by creating clearer, more purposeful messaging across email, social, and digital channels. I worked closely with partners and internal teams to make sure every campaign felt consistent, aligned, and true to TXAEYC’s mission. By focusing on strong storytelling and thoughtful execution, I helped elevate the organization’s voice and extend its reach to early childhood professionals across Texas.
I spent significant time strengthening the Texas Child Care Credential Program by partnering closely with the Program and Membership Directors. Together, we refined the messaging, built clearer outreach strategies, and positioned the credential as an accessible, high-value opportunity for early childhood professionals. These efforts helped drive demand and contributed to selling out courses across Texas.
I refreshed the visual identity for TXAEYC’s annual spring conference, The Big Retreat, designing a new logo early in the planning cycle so we could build momentum directly off the success of the Fall Conference.

For TXAEYC’s Fall Conference—the biggest event of the year—I handled everything from creative direction to on-the-ground execution. I built and launched the conference app, designed all visual elements (program, merch, signage, and more), and made sure the entire event felt cohesive from the moment attendees walked in. On-site, I also took on photography and videography, capturing hundreds of assets used for future marketing and sponsor recaps. It was a full-spectrum project that blended design, tech, and storytelling, and helped elevate the entire conference experience.

I put together a statewide campaign with our partner, ChildCare Education Institute® from the ground up. I designed the visual identity, built a WordPress landing page, crafted emails through Constant Contact, and produced social assets to reach educators across Texas. I also worked directly with ChildCare Education Institute® to keep messaging aligned and impactful. The result was a clean, engaging campaign that gave educators valuable resources (D.A.P. Toolkit) for the new school year and demonstrated my ability to handle strategy, design, content, and execution all at once.
